Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, September 2, suggest that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) will get confronted by none other than Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier).
Philip is close to Joy, as he practically watched the young girl grow up because of his connection with her older sister, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Still, Philip is also Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) cousin, and close to Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) because of their history.
Will he advise Joy to start leaning on him for stuff and less on Alex? Philip doesn’t want to see Alex or Stephanie get hurt, or break up over this, so only time will tell. Speaking of Alex and Stephanie, they’ll find common ground.
A Special Opportunity
Across town, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will get a special opportunity. Will they squeeze in some romantic time?
The two are busy with their careers, so they may feel as if it’s been a hot minute since they’ve connected.
Growing Suspicions

They are hot on the trail of gathering substantial proof surrounding EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) DiMera Pharmaceuticals tainted Coriseal cover-up. Will they finally get the lead they are looking for?
Lastly, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will discover a hidden talent that Victoria Kiriakis (Angelica Nero) has. Salem’s daddy-daughter dance takes place this week, so will Victoria cut a rug with her dad?
