DOOL Spoilers: Shocking Truth Behind Vivian And Ivan’s Disappearance – Is EJ The Mastermind?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease the shocking truth behind Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) and Ivan G’Vera’s (Ivan Marais) sudden disappearance in Alamania.  

EJ may have been released when they couldn’t prove he was behind Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) kidnapping, but did he pull one off in Alamania?

EJ was reluctantly let go by the police due to lack of evidence for a kidnapping in Salem. District Attorney Belle Brady (Martha Madison) was furious she couldn’t charge her ex.

Did EJ commit another kidnapping in Alamania, out of Belle and Salem PD’s reach? Vivian and her henchman Ivan are missing, possibly linked to EJ.

Recent Days of our Lives episodes showed Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) revealing  a recent crime. He revealed to Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) that Vivian and Ivan have vanished.

Vivian And Ivan Were Supposed To Visit The Cemetery, Then They Disappeared

They were supposed to visit the cemetery and then disappeared. Remember, Leo was wearing a wig and was at the location they were meant to be; this suggests foul play.

Leo in that wig and coat reminded viewers of Harry Potter, especially the Boggart scene with Professor Snape in a dress.

When EJ was in the interrogation room calling Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney)  instead of a lawyer, it hints he might be hiding more than just his secret lab work on his sister Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford).

Was Elvis Jr.’s call with Rita to confirm that Vivian and Yvonne had been successfully snatched from Alamania and dumped somewhere on DiMera property?

EJ Is Juggling A Lot Of Plates Full Of Mischief

You see, EJ is juggling numerous responsibilities at the moment, and lot of plates of mischief! Belle pressed him regarding the kidnapping of Stephanie and  Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark).

Honestly, EJ was unaware that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) had enlisted Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey).

However, what Belle is unaware of is that EJ discovered Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) had seen Stephanie and Jeremy in the storage area.

EJ even informed Rolf that they essentially needed to be eliminated because he cannot allow anyone to uncover the truth about Lexie yet and cannot jeopardize the research.

EJ’s Lab Is Undergoing Increased Surveillance And Scrutiny

Currently, EJ’s lab is facing increased scrutiny because Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) discovered the empty person pod that was recently used as Lexie’s storage.

Additionally, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is working hard to stay ahead of Dimitri, trying to keep him unaware of the kidnapping that she and EJ orchestrated.

With the revelation that Vivian and Ivan are also missing, this could be the third kidnapping linked to EJ.

Technically, it’s four if you include his own kidnapping, which involved Dimitri, the DiMeras, Stephanie, Jeremy, and now Ivan and Madam Vivian.

Leo Helped Dimitri Escape To Alamania

If you remember, Leo assisted Dimitri in escaping to Alamania to prove he wasn’t collaborating with Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier). Dimitri has always denied being involved in the DiMera kidnappings.

However, Vivian and Gwen fabricated evidence that suggested the CCTV footage from the crypt was sent to Dimitri’s tablet, which they placed in a room at Vivian’s mansion along with some of his items.

Madam Vivian claimed Dimitri was an unwanted guest, but he has consistently maintained that he was held somewhere else and was also a victim of kidnapping. Furthermore, Ivan attempted to poison Leo and Dimitri and likely hired a sniper to target them.

It All Relates To The Situation With Gwen And Vivian

This all relates to the situation with Gwen and Vivian; fortunately, ISA super agent Andrew managed to stop the unknown assassin from killing Leo and Dimitri.

However, Andrew had some bad news-the ISA went to the house Dimitri found on Zillow, where he claims he was held captive. But Gwen had already warned the Alamanians, and they cleaned everything up-someone went in and completely emptied the house.

Andrew mentioned they collected DNA samples and fingerprints that match Dimitri. But both Andrew and Dimitri understand that this evidence isn’t enough to prove he was held there, only that he was present at some time.

Dimitri Is Suspected In The Disappearance Of Ivan And Vivian

With Vivian and Ivan missing and foul play suspected, the ISA and local police think Dimitri might be involved in this crime.

So, Leo and Dimitri are back to square one because they need to show he had no part in the kidnapping of EJ, his siblings, and nephew.

Now, they also have to consider Vivian and Ivan; Dimitri is determined to prove that Gwen was behind his kidnapping.

He also needs to find out who is responsible for Vivian and Ivan’s abduction, as he could be implicated in that too.

With Leo and Dimitri seen lurking around Vivian’s house multiple times and Leo at the cemetery, they look like obvious suspects.

It’s All Very Suspicious

However, it’s suspicious that since EJ and Gwen did an excellent job of keeping Dimitri hidden for a year in Alamania, they likely had local contacts that EJ could use to hire someone to take Vivian and Ivan.

Gwen might not be involved in this kidnapping since she was plotting with Vivian; so,  EJ could be betraying his partner in crime, Gwen.

You see, EJ seeks revenge on Vivian for her part in his family’s kidnappings and planned murders-clearly, he has a strong reason to hold a grudge.

Additionally, Gwen’s desire for revenge on Dimitri has complicated things for EJ because it disrupted funding for Rolf’s secret lab-EJ is frustrated that Gwen’s actions have complicated his sister Lexie’s resurrection.

Gwen Just Couldn’t Resist

Gwen just couldn’t resist, she aimed to make Leo suffer, and now, Gwen is almost out of money, and EJ might honestly be considering strangling her. It would be fitting if EJ had Rita arrange to kidnap Vivian and Ivan.

Rita, as you may recall, is excellent-she has been assisting the DiMeras in tough situations since the days of Stefano DiMera (Joe Mascolo).

She is skilled at handling delicate tasks for EJ, and there are no limits to what Rita will do for the DiMeras. It’s a bit frightening-it makes sense that she would agree to help EJ eliminate Vivian and Ivan.

Rita Is Fiercely Loyal To EJ And The DiMeras

Rita is fiercely loyal to EJ and the DiMeras; she would happily punish anyone who threatens them, so she’s likely deeply involved. Rita always backs EJ’s plans, though she occasionally scolds him-she’s his trusted adviser and knows all the secret DiMera activities.

She even helped EJ persuade Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to assist at DiMera while Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) healed from his kidnapping brain injury.

It was amusing because Theo told JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) he hoped there wouldn’t be another kidnapping in Salem for a long time. A bit of foreshadowing, right?; they’re not very subtle.

Vivian And Ivan May Be Sealed In The DiMera Crypt

Despite the fact that Vivian and Ivan were captured in Alamania, there’s a strong chance they could be in Salem, possibly hidden within the DiMera tunnels.

Or, in a more ironically sinister twist, Rita might have imprisoned them in the DiMera crypt right in EJ’s own backyard.

Furthermore, Rita could have sealed it off, claiming it’s too traumatic for the DiMeras to enter after their kidnapping experience.

Given that Vivian conspired with Peter to trap EJ and the others in that very place to eliminate them with Sarin gas, it would be poetic justice. Can you just imagine if Vivian, who’s buried people alive in the past, now finds herself trapped there with Ivan; it’s certainly not a luxurious situation.
