Chanel DiMera Resents

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 1, indicate Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) will resent Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).

Her pregnancy hormones are raging right now, but should she really be displeased with her hubby?

He was honest with her the other day about his concerns with her cancer returning while she’s pregnant, which would leave her vulnerable, as she can’t undergo any treatments.

Chanel is excited to be expecting, while Johnny is nervous (rightfully so – for so many reasons).

Should she give him a break, or could this cause issues between the couple? They’ve had to navigate a lot recently, so here’s hoping this is just a hiccup in the road.

Gabi Hernandez Bonds

Across town, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will bond. This is an unlikely duo to get close; however, is it wedding festivities that bring these ladies closer?

After all, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Gwen are old friends, while Gabi is Javi Hernandez’s (Al Calderon) cousin. Regardless, could these ladies bond enough to become *gasp* friends? Only time will tell.

Leo Stark’s Wedding Favor

Speaking of, Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday suggest the Hernandez family will be prepping for Javi and Leo’s wedding, so perhaps Gwen is helping Gabi with some details for the big day.

In related news, Leo will turn to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) with a wedding request. It sounds like he’ll ask his therapist and friend to be the wedding official who oversees the ceremony, and there’s no reason why Marlena wouldn’t jump at the chance to conduct their nuptials.
