Is Kelsey Kiriakis Alex Kiriakis’ Child

Fans have been speculating ever since Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) returned to Salem that her daughter does not belong to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

Rumors have been floating around that Kelsey actually belongs to Jeremy Horton (Michael Roarke) instead.

Could Jeremy have faked that DNA test?

Jeremy is the person who called Joy and asked her to bring her daughter to Salem. Jeremy wanted Joy to come between Stephanie and Alex so he could be there to pick up the pieces.

Jeremy was truly shocked to learn that Stephanie didn’t want anything to do with him romantically even if she was leaning on him.

Did Jeremy Horton Rig The DNA Test?

Fan speculation is that Jeremy used his father’s old credentials to get into the hospital lab and change the results to make it look like Joy’s baby belonged to Alex.

Of course, we know Joy was pregnant when she left Salem, but she had been gone long enough to lose that baby and get pregnant again by someone else. It has also been obvious that Joy isn’t exactly particular about whose bed she jumps into.

After all, Joy almost slept with Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) the first night they met. Perhaps Joy did the same with Jeremy while he was in New York after she returned home.

Could Kelsey be Jeremy’s child?

DNA Does Not Lie

DNA may not lie but it can certainly be tampered with and has been a lot on the show.

The fact that Joy and Jeremy were trying to break up Alex and Stephanie, it could be very likely that the test results were changed.

Joy is certainly not beyond going after someone for their money. Was faking the DNA test all a part of the bigger scheme? Let’s suppose that Kelsey is hurt and need a blood transfusion.

Kelsey’s blood would have to be typed to make sure the blood is compatible.

Could Alex lose his daughter just like that when the DNA test comes back that he cannot possibly be her father?

Joy’s time in Salem may be short if something happens to her daughter or if the DNA proves that she does not belong to Alex. Will we see a change in paternity in this case? Fans are certainly betting on it.
