Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) may fall into deep despair, blaming himself for Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) shooting!
JJ has just barely gotten back into being a cop, after accidentally shooting Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and they’ve finally bonded again!
JJ Had Accidentally Shot Theo Several Years Ago And Theo Had Blamed Him
JJ had accidentally shot Theo several years ago and Theo had blamed him-JJ was shooting in the dark and didn’t recognize who he was shooting. Theo went into a coma for quite a while, but finally woke up.
They did seem to make amends with each other at some point while living in Africa, but more recently, Theo was back to blaming JJ for shooting him again.
In between the time when he accidentally shot Theo, JJ tried his hand at being a paramedic, but since returning to Salem again, he decided to return to the Salem Police Force.
Theo and JJ finally put the past behind them, but now, Shawn is shot when he and JJ get in a shootout, and JJ blames himself!
JJ And Shawn Move In On Klaus Muller, But Klaus Shoots Shawn, JJ Couldn’t Shoot First!
JJ and Shawn both see Klaus Muller (Bassel Alzaro) as he attempts to shoot Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop) and Shawn gets ahead of JJ.
Klaus shoots as JJ has his gun drawn, but it seems that Shawn steps in as JJ holds back from shooting, with Liam frightened behind them.
They’re looking right at Klaus as he trains his gun on Liam, and yet JJ seems to freeze, and Shawn is shot and hits the ground in front of him!
JJ, in shock, shouts out Shawn’s name, and before he passes out, Shawn will press JJ for the truth; is the truth that JJ’s not really ready for the police force?
Shawn May Not Make It, And JJ Blames Himself, Goes Into Deep Despair
Shawn may not make it and JJ blames himself, and goes into deep despair-he finally just recently forgave himself for accidentally shooting Theo, and Theo again forgave him.
When JJ shot Theo, he moved in too quick-when Shawn was shot, JJ moved too slow, trying not to move too fast! JJ wonders if he should have returned to being a paramedic, even though the thought of that brings back bad memories of a very bad time in his life.
If Shawn should die, JJ will blame himself for not properly covering his partner, especially on his first time out as a cop after being reinstated to the force!
Hopefully, Shawn will pull through, in spite of the nearly point-blank shooting, and the shooter in the wind only adds insult to injury!
