Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Jeremy Horton’s (Michael Roark) only path to clear his name might be to find and expose Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) real stalker!

Considering Jeremy is also a victim if someone used his identity to set up that website, he may be able to press identity theft charges as well.

Jeremy claims innocence, that he never knew of such a website, let alone set it up-he told his lawyer, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) he was being framed!

The information that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) found was just that Jeremy had paid for the domain-but did he have financial proof?

If he did, he didn’t mention it in his conversations with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) or anyone else; proving Jeremy paid for it with financial records tracing back to his accounts was needed.

However, as Jada explained when she told Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie, there’s no law against simply setting up a website so she couldn’t hold him.

There was no nudity and no porn contained in the website either, it seemed merely the work of an obsessed fan.

Jeremy Didn’t Pay For The Site, He Must Find Out Who Did And Expose Him

Jeremy knows he didn’t pay for the site, so he must find out who did and expose him-he may not be able to get him arrested for stalking Stephanie, but he may be able to prove identity theft.

If having him arrested for that gets him off the street and ensures Stephanie’s safety, that’s all that Jeremy cares about, as well as clearing his name. Jeremy was exactly right when he said he’d never be able to work as a teacher or anything else, should he have been arrested for stalking.

There’s a very thin line between a stalker of adults and a deviant who could potentially abuse children as well, and Jeremy knows that.

It’s vitally important that Jeremy not only stays free, but that he exposes the true stalker-and Stephanie’s protected.

Following The Money Trail

Technically, this would be more a cybercrime investigation so Jeremy needs to follow the money trail-and of course, make sure he doesn’t find any strange charges in his accounts.

One would think if the domain was purchased by him, there would have been a money trail leading back to him, is it possible Steve skipped a step? What if there’s a different Jeremy Horton out there somewhere and this purchase was only a coincidence?

Then again, if someone was trying to frame him, that person would have to be someone who knew his and Stephanie’s past-and knew them very well.

If Jeremy can track down this person who set up this website under his name and prove it, that’s his only path to clearing his name.
