DOOL Spoilers: Gwen & Leo Team Up To Bring Dimitri Down?

Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) plan to bring back Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) has backfired.

While she organized it all to get back at Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), Dimitri is quickly becoming a thorn in Gwen’s side, too. Gwen wants Dimitri gone; Leo wants him gone too … so, will these former besties team up to rid Salem of him?

Gwen Rizczech’s Failed Plan

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Gwen’s goal was for Dimitri to crash Leo’s wedding and ruin it; however, the opposite happened. Leo and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) still said their vows and had a beautiful wedding, only for Dimitri to show up after the fact.

Still, there was one little loose end with filing their marriage license, and it looks like Leo and Javi will not officially become husband and husband.

Javi had asked Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to refrain from filing the license, and she followed those orders. With that said, Leo also admitted to Javi that he still has feelings for Dimitri.

To make things even more sticky, Javi headed out of town, with an unknown return date, to take care of his father in Texas, who’s having open heart surgery.

Dimitri blew up Leo’s perfect relationship, and while he does still love him, Leo wants him out of Salem, ASAP. Still, Dimitri isn’t only causing problems for Leo, but also for Gwen.

After all, during the week of January 19-23, Dimitri froze Gwen’s bank account and credit card; Gwen couldn’t even afford a $20 book purchase at Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) bookstore. Without her von Leuschner fortune, Gwen will struggle to make ends meet.

Ex-Besties Become Scheming Partners?

Will Leo and Gwen come together to scheme and drive Dimitri out of town? Last time around, Gwen partnered with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) when it came to kidnapping Dimitri, but to be fair, EJ has his hands full with other diabolical plans, plus, he’s in Italy right now, visiting his daughter, Sydney DiMera (Evelyn Stevenson).

Necessity is the mother of invention, so both Gwen and Leo may decide to bury the hatchet to boot Dimitri out of Salem! But will they also bond in the process?
