Although EJ loves his sister and is glad to have her back, he obviously had ulterior motives in reviving Lexie.
Thanks to a concoction of Versavix and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) serum, Lexie is alive and well again. EJ is now in the business of selling miracles, but he can’t just sit back and watch the cash come rolling in yet.
Now EJ has to prove Lexie’s revival wasn’t just some fluke or a typical DiMera trick. In order to do that, Days spoilers say EJ needs more test patients and hopefully more successful resurrections.
This is something EJ’s been mulling over, but DOOL hasn’t given any confirmation on who his next test subject might be. However, we can think of a twist that just might be the ultimate way to prove people can have faith in what EJ’s selling.
What if EJ himself lands at the center of a back-from-the-dead experiment? EJ has cheated death before on Days and just might do it again thanks to this Versavix-based process that Dr. Rolf has developed.
After all, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has been trying to convince Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) to help her kill EJ. Xander has been resisting the idea of being Kristen’s hitman so far, but he might change his mind sooner or later.
Kristen and Xander have been enjoying some sizzling encounters, so that could strengthen their connection and lead to a fatal alliance. If EJ does something to rile Xander up, that could be another reason for Xander to decide he’s on board with Kristen’s plan.
Between the cash Kristen’s offering and the chance to get rid of EJ for good, Xander may determine that he just can’t pass up this opportunity. Days spoilers suggest Kristen and Xander might move full-speed on the plot to kill EJ eventually.
If that happens, Kristen may finally get her revenge once EJ’s deceased. That’s when Dr. Rolf could bring EJ back to life and leave Kristen fuming.
It could actually work in EJ’s favor in the end if he proves Lexie’s revival wasn’t just a one-time thing. EJ could become a huge news story and make even more money than he anticipated.
