DOOL Spoilers: Behind The Scenes Shocker-Former Star Reveals Co-Star’s ‘Horrible’ Behavior

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal a behind-the-scenes shocker, as a former leading lady exposes her former leading man’s egregious behavior.

She claims her co-star was ‘Terrible… Verbally Abusive’ and shares ‘I had to work with him daily, often in minimal clothing.

Lisa Rinna Portrayed Billie Reed To Robert Kelker-Kelly’s Bo Brady

It is widely recognized that when DOOL brought together Lisa Rinna’s character Billie Reed with the recast Bo Brady, portrayed by Robert Keller-Kelly, the chemistry between them was far from harmonious. This was in the early 1990s.

However, the true extent of their tumultuous working relationship has only come to light recently.

In her newly released memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, Rinna, who is also known for her role as a former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, makes some horrific claims.

She says that her co-star “made my life a living hell on the set… [He was] horrible to me. I’d go so far as to say verbally abusive.

He was passive aggressive, manipulative and played weird mind games;” it didn’t help matters any that as their characters were married, they frequently had bedroom scenes.

A Super Tense Time For The Supercouple

Compounding the situation was the reality that Rinna and Keller-Kelly found themselves caught up in a widely followed romance on the show, being considered a supercouple.

As she recounts, “I had to work with him every day, often in a state of partial undress to film love scenes.”

She continues, “If I didn’t comply with his wishes, he would resort to giving me the silent treatment.”

At that time, Rinna, who had just begun her journey in the world of television with Days of Our Lives as her first series-regular role, struggled to advocate for herself. “I still lacked the assertiveness and self-confidence when it came to dealing with men,” she admits.

 However, she reflects, “If Robert Kelker-Kelly were in my life today, he would never have been able to behave that way without consequences.” Ultimately, Kelker-Kelly was released from his role, and Peter Reckell returned to reprise his former character; he later played a version of Stavros Cassadine on ABC’s General Hospital.

However, the role of Stavros, who was killed off during his portrayal was his last acting role-he now works as a commercial airline pilot.  

Later on, Billie was reintroduced with new actresses Krista Allen (known for her role as Taylor Hayes on CBS’s  Bold & Beautiful) and Julie Pinson (who played Eve Lambert on ABC’s  Port Charles).
