Two characters share an awkward encounter, while a mother issues a warning, and someone gets good news (for a change). Find out what’s set to unravel on Thursday’s show, below.

Chanel DiMera’s Awkward Encounter

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 29, note that Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) will reach out to Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). Will Chanel go and visit Sophia, and if so, is this on her own accord, or will Sophia’s doctor suggest it?

Fans may recall the explosive encounter that Sophia had when Rachel’s doctor thought it was a good idea for Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) to meet with the young Bayview patient.

Then again, maybe Chanel will think it’s a good idea for Sophia to get an update on Trey DiMera (Joseph Ihlenfeldt and Jordan Perdue). Sophia would only do this for the right reasons, but will she see it like that?

In related teasers, Chanel’s husband, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has some good news for Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans), so it looks like he’ll tell her that her book has been picked up by Titan.

Ari Horton’s Warning

Across town, Arianna “Ari” Horton (Marissa Reyes) will get a warning from her mother, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). What will Gabi warn Ari about?

Could it be interning for DiMera Enterprises, or will Gabi be worried about Ari’s college partying? Only time will tell!

Jennifer Horton’s Vow

Lastly, Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday hint that Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will promise Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that she’ll be there for him, when he needs it.

Jennifer likely feels bad for the child custody case, and now that this is all behind them, she may want to make up for the worry she caused him. Can they put this all behind them and move forward as a family?
