DOOL Spoilers: A Whole Lot Of Shaking Going On With Casting Changes

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that some new faces are about to hit the Peacock soap in some well established rolls.

Fan’s may or may not be aware that several changes are coming this spring. Some of these changes fans were aware of and other came as a huge surprise.

Changes Fans Knew About

Billy Flynn exited his role as Chad Dimera last spring to move to his new role on The Young And The Restless as Cane Ashby.

Flynn will soon be replaced by Connor Floyd, who exited Y&R last fall where he played Chance Chancellor. Floyd has been filming as Chad since late June and will begin appearing in April 2026.

Al Calderon left the role of Javi Hernandez last summer after getting the role of Scotty Silva on Brilliant Minds. Javi has also been recast and his replacement will be showing up soon too.

Peacock or DOOL have not released the identity of the actor who has taken over but he is set to debut in late May or early June.

Cary Christopher announced his exit in October saying he had left several months before for a new role on an Amazon series. Christopher did not name the serious nor did he give an exit date from Days Of Our Lives.

DAYS co-head writers Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford , in the 2026 preview, did not address Christopher’s exit, however they did confirm Floyd’s start along with a couple more.

More Recasts Coming This Spring Include

Alice Halsey, who has been playing Rachel Black for months after Finley Rose Slater exited that role, it also making her exit this spring.

Halsey took this joby in February 2025 but soon got cast in AppleTV+’s Little House on the Prairie reboot as Laura Ingalls.

Recently it was also announced that Marissa Reyes, who has played Ari Horton since May, 2025 will be replaced in April 2026.

Ford nor Cwikly have getting us a heads up on who is taken over for Rachel or Ari as of yet. These are the recasts we are aware of, keep checking back for updates on any more unexpected recasting news.
