Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest the preview for the week of April 20-24 has just been released.
Fans can expect to see Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) order a mammogram (stat!) While Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) pressures Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), there are three major character returns to talk about. Find out what’s happening in Salem next week by reading below.
Lani Price-Grant’s Back!
The Days of Our Lives promo for the week of April 20-24 opens with Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) in Horton’s Square as she’s tending to (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue).
The woman looks up from her stroller with a happy smile, only to see her sister, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers), grinning back at her.
Chanel says, “OMG, Lani!” as she hugs her sis. It sounds like these two siblings will have a very nice catch-up session!
With that said, Lani isn’t the only major character returning to the canvas! As scenes shift, the new Chad DiMera – now played by Young and the Restless alum, Conner Floyd (ex-Chance Chancellor) – is tending to his children.
They, too, are somewhere in Horton Square as Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) states, “Daddy, look!”
The little girl is pointing at someone, and when the camera pans over, it’s Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).
Cat stops dead in her tracks and looks shocked, while Chad looks awkward. Could these two end up reuniting now that some time has passed?
Theo Carver’s Journal Tell-All
As the preview progresses, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) is shown at Brady’s Pub.
He bids adieu to Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), who is still sitting at the table. As he leaves, Gabi moves her menu, and under it is a journal.
Fans may recall during the Friday, April 17 episode that during his therapy session, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) encouraged Theo to journal.
Well, it looks like he will, but the particular page Gabi sees (and reads) is thoughts about his feelings toward someone named “G” … and how he can’t get her out of his mind! Will she put two and two together?
Across town, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will both be enjoying a glass of wine on a patio together.
This is when Leo states, “You lived under the same roof as EJ [DiMera – Dan Feuerriegel] for months, and certainly spent time in that dungeon of dubious science – what do you know?” As he says this, Gwen looks suspicious as heck!
Sarah Horton’s Mammogram
Over at the hospital, Sarah is on the phone, scheduling a mammogram as soon as possible. It’s likely not for her, but for her patient, Chanel, as Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) noticed a lump on his wife’s chest just this past week.
Fans could feel this storyline coming from a mile away, so it looks like this is about to all unfold during the week of April 20.
Speaking of Johnny, the Days of Our Lives weekly preview also highlights a clip with Kristen on the phone. She’s talking to Sophia as she states, “This gets done tomorrow; no emotion, no mess.”
It looks like Kristen is pressuring Sophia to pull the trigger on their plan – so to speak – so will the young girl really try to end Johnny’s life? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
Welcome Back, Joy Wesley!
As the promo wraps up, the final scene shows Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) in his home as he hears a knock at the door. He says, “That was fast, Baby, what did you forget? Your keys?”
Alex likely believes it’s Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) at the door, but it’s not her.
While fans don’t see her face in the preview, and just the back of a woman, it’s been reported that AlexAnn Hopkins is reprising her Joy Wesley role on the Friday, April 24 show.
The figure in the video does resemble Joy, so will she tell Alex that he’s a father?
