Days Of Our Lives Alum & Musician Carson Boatman Ready To Join GH?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers have fans wondering if Days of Our Lives (DOOL) alum Carson Boatman (Johnny DiMera) could be switching his allegiance to ABC by coming to GH.

Boatman debuted as Johnny DiMera on DOOL in 2021. He is among three Days of Our Lives cast members let go earlier this year: Raven Bowens (Chanel DiMera), Ashley Puzemis (Holly Jonas), and Leo Howard (Tate Black).

Boatman is no longer with DOOL but his character can still be seen onscreen on the Peacock soap. Johnny’s official exit from the streaming soap happens in 2027 and he recently talked to Soap Hub to about what’s next.

A New Arrival in Port Charles?

Boatman expressed appreciation for his time on the soap and shared that he’s open to reprising his role if the opportunity comes up.

In the meantime, the actor is willing to explore other soap gigs and gave a shout to General Hospital specifically. What do you think, would Boatman blend well into the little city by the docks?

Carson Boatman Steps Away From DOOL

We’d love to see the talented thespian snag a role on General Hospital. The next question becomes, who would he play? We have two choices: an original or a recast role.

As far as recasts go, Boatman would make a terrific Cameron Webber (last played by William Lipton) or Dillon Quartermaine (last played by Robert Palmer Watkins). We also think that Boatman would slay it in an original role written for him. What do you think?

Carson Boatman’s Daytime Future

Since leaving Salem, Boatman has been focused on his music career. He’s released a new single titled ‘Wild Thing’ and remains part of The Day Players band, made up of past and present actors from Days of Our Lives–which would make him a great addition to the GH cast which has a tradition of showcasing musicians like Ricky Martinez (Miguel Morez) and Rick Springfield (Noah Drake).
