A court in Michigan found Dale Warner guilty of killing his wife Dee. The crime that occurred in April of 2021 concluded after the jury decided on his guilt. Largely circumstantial evidence clearly outweighed the possibility of his innocence. Read on to find out what happens next.

Guilty On Two Counts

Before the jury gave their verdict, the judge went into a lot of detail warning about intimidation of witnesses. The case that aired on Law&Crime Trials involved two charges, and the jury found Dale guilty on both counts.

One was for murder in the second degree and the other for tampering with evidence. None of the jury dissented when they called out the guilty verdict one by one for court records.

Next, the court set the date for sentencing. That will take place on May 7 at 8:15 a.m. There was a lot of discussion about potentially delaying it until June. However, the case already had setbacks. Still, every legal case ends up concluding sooner or later.

The Witnesses

During the trial, Dee Warner’s son-in-law also testified that he found a tracking device on her car. Plus, Detective Daniel Drewyor provided testimony concerning the investigation. He revealed that investigators carried out searches on different properties.

After they scanned some anhydrous ammonia tanks, they discovered human remains inside one of them. That tank was on property belonging to Dee’s spouse, Dale Warner. During the Lenawee County case, a lot of frustration over the slowness of the case became evident.

A Slow Murder Case Concludes

It took three years to find her body, and right through the whole investigation, Dale Warner protested his innocence. In fact, he turned down a plea deal. That came prior to the jury deliberation, which was set back by months due to some medical issues.

Well, it seems that the jury believed the state’s case. It took a lot of effort to cut open the tank and stuff Dee’s body in it. Then, he still had to close it up again. So, premeditation seemed obvious.

As far as true crime enthusiasts go, the right man was found guilty. In the comments of the verdict video, one of them wrote, “I’ll never get people who think they can kill their spouse and get away with it.”

Here are a few other responses from the discussion:

  • Divorce would be much more painless than spending the rest of your life in jail.
  • Now he can spend rest of his life in prison,
  • Now Dale Warner don’t have to worry about sharing the money or selling the farm.
  • Selfish jealous man, kept Dee in a tank on the property so only he knew where she was. Took Dee away from her kids and his own little girl. Doesn’t get any crueler than that. Enjoy your new home Dale you sure deserve it. Justice for Dee Warner.
