Boston Blue Adds CSI Actress To Cast
Marg Helgenberger made her debut as CSI fan fave Catherine Willows back in 2000. After over a decade on the series, Helgenberger said goodbye in 2013.
Then we entered the Television Reboots Era, in 2022 Catherine Willows made a comeback on CSI: Vegas for two seasons.
Between her stints on CSI, Marg Helgenberger also appeared on primetime shows like All Rise, Under The Dome, and Intelligence. The newest addition to Blue Bloods also appeared in the CSI TV movie that aired in 2015.
According to Boston Blue spoilers, the former CSI cast member will be playing the part of Gwen Silver (Sarah’s estranged mother) and will have a prominent role this season.
Boston Blue Introduces Gwen Silver
Per a report from TV Line, “Gwen returns to Boston with a very personal and emotional agenda just when Sarah least expects it. Though Gwen loves her daughter more than anything, her arrival adds a complicated layer to the Silver family dynamic.”
The website goes on to describe the character as, “a complex yet charming woman whose temperament is not unlike the climate of her Cape Cod home — unpredictable.”
The Season 2 premiere date for Boston Blue on CBS is scheduled for October 9 at 10:00 PM.
