Calls Grow for King Charles to Abdicate After Prince Andrew Arrest

King Charles is facing calls from the same people who were once playing in his court to step down.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest was a shocking development that echoed throughout the royal fandom, with a number of varied opinions surfacing.

However, the most resounding one remains that Charles has sadly run his course and must step aside for the next generation.

One can admit that King Charles’ reign has been plagued by troubles and social unrest, starting from the Harry drama and moving straight on to the repeated scandals with Andrew’s name slapped at the top.

The anti-monarchist voices have been steadily growing in recent years, and with Andrew adding the proverbial cherry on top, even Monarchists are joining in the line opposing the rule of King Charles the III.

“I’m a royalist and a monarchist. In the best interests of the institution, it is time for King Charles to abdicate immediately. His position is untenable,” a conservative British wrote on X.

In addition to the calls, Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News that Prince William’s standing is under threat as well.

“This whole saga could bring the monarchy down, leaving William furious regarding his own future,” Turner said. “Britain is listening intensely to the drip-feeding of sex allegations. It could be one of the main reasons why William took a PR troubleshooter onto his staff to deal with matters like this.”

Amid calls for King Charles to abdicate, an equally rising number of voices are disagreeing with the logic. Was King Charles mentioned in the files, or must one take a fall solely on their siblings’ behavior?

However, shortly after Andrew’s arrest, the King made his stance clear, by keeping calm and carrying on. After releasing a statement to announce that he’s on the side of the police as they continue their investigations, he attended a fashion event that took place in London.

The one thing he might not entirely avoid, even if he does manage to hold onto his position, is removing Andrew from the line of succession.
