Bringing Up Bates Star Shares Heartbreaking Pregnancy News

Bringing Up Bates fans are heartbroken this week after one of the cast members took to social media and revealed they had suffered a miscarriage. 

Gil and Kelly Bates’ daughter Katie confirmed in an emotional video that she was pregnant with her third child, but unfortunately had complications and lost the baby.  

The Bringing Up Bates clan is HUGE, however Katie Bates has always been a fan fave among viewers.  Katie and her husband Travis Clark are already parents to two little ones, a son Harvey Gray and daughter Hailey James.

On January 16 Katie shared a video on Instagram showing herself with a positive pregnancy test, she also surprised Travis with a cute teddy bear and was ecstatic they were going to be parents for a third time.  However, the video ended with her in a hospital bed an sobbing, “I just lost my baby.”

Katie’s pregnancy video went on to say, “I think I will ask God why for the rest of my life. And never will I come to understand it. Even if God himself came in front of me and told me the reason, I don’t think I will accept it.  Some loves are too hard to bear and with great love comes great pain.  And with great loss comes the greatest pain of all. If love could’ve saved you, you would’ve lived forever.”

Katie Bates Gets Support After Miscarriage

Katie Bates captioned the tearjerker, “I will spend the rest of my life missing you.”  Of course, Katie and Travis’ family was quick to all offer their support and encouragement in the comments, dozens of fans shared their condolences and prayers as well.
