Big Brother’s Season 28 is off to an explosive start. While Dee was named Head of Household and issued out the first round of nominations, a win at the Power of Veto competition flipped the game upside down.
Plus, Angela had a meltdown when she learned of a manipulation. Let’s unpack all the drama from episode 3, below.
Veto Win Changes The Game
As some fans may know, HoH Dee nominated Mallory, Yash, and Taylor for eviction. Mallory got super emotional, and Yash was not happy as Dee had vowed her group would be safe.
Still, Mallory began naming others in the house who should’ve been nominated instead, which wasn’t a good look. This had Melody attempting to distance herself from her friendship with Mallory.
With that said, Taylor took it all in stride. When the players for the Power of Veto were drawn, Barrett and Melody’s names were chosen to join Dee, Mallory, and Taylor in the game.
The challenge brought BB legends Dr. Will and Howie to present the backstory of the competition. In the end, Mallory scored the win. During the Power of Veto ceremony, Mallory took herself off the block.
Since Dee had already chosen a person from each group to go up for nomination, she only had Ashley and Barrett – the two people who didn’t compete in the original challenge – to choose. As Barrett is in Dee’s secret ‘crossover’ alliance, Ashley went up on the block.
Heartfelt Manipulation
As fans saw from episode 2, Jason and Angela continued to bond in episode 3. He shared that he lost his mom recently, and Angela comforted him.
When Angela left the room, Jason stared directly into the camera and admitted he was manipulating her to gain her trust.
Jason proceeded to tell Drew and Melody that he was faking a bond with Angela and revealed he’s gunning for Devens. This placed an unknowing target on Jason’s back.
After all, Drew is part of the secret ‘crossover’ alliance with Dee, Barrett, Devens, and Angela, so he quickly told both Dee and Devens about what Jason said. Angela found out as well.
Angela proceeded to have an emotional meltdown in the Diary Room regarding Jason’s betrayal. Lots of tears were shed, and Jason now has an enemy he’s not aware of, as she’s keeping this to herself to blindside him.
Fans can look forward to seeing Yash, Ashley, and Taylor compete in the first Blockbuster competition this week. Whoever wins the challenge will take themselves off the block, leaving the two others to head home come eviction night.
