While the ratings are nothing like some of the soaps that have been around for decades, Beyond The Gates has been holding its own. How much longer can we expect to see it on the air though?
Is Beyond The Gates Cancelled
This week Beyond The Gates went off the air for Fourth Of July. CBS is airing BTG re-runs every day through Monday June 28 – Friday July 3.
When news broke that the soap opera was going off the air for a week, rumors began surfacing on the internet that CBS was contemplating pulling the plug on the daytime drama all together.
We can confirm that Beyond The Gates isn’t going anywhere, for now. The soap will return to its regular daytime schedule on Monday July 6, 2025 and be airing new episodes again. But, is BTG at rick of cancellation?
BTG Is Safe For Two More Years
When CBS ordered Beyond The Gates, they picked up two seasons of the daytime soap. In 2025, the network announced that they had renewed BTG for another two seasons.
Daytime TV doesn’t count seasons like primetime. A season is basically one year. So, we are currently only in Beyond The Gates Season 2.
Viewers shouldn’t expect to see Season 3 kick off until February 2027, and Season 4 won’t start until February 2028.
We know that Beyond The Gates has been guaranteed four seasons, so the network has two more years to decide if they will be renewing the new soap opera or pulling the plug on it.
Right now there’s no reason for fans to panic and any rumors of Beyond The Gates getting cancelled are nothing more than rumors.
