B&B Spoilers: Zende’s Explosion Proves Steffy’s Incompetence — Is FC Headed For Disaster?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Zende Forrester (Delon De Metz) isn’t feeling the love at Forrester Creations.

He went on a rant last week, shrieking to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about Hope For the Future being back burnered in favor of the couture line.

For is part, Carter looked like a deer in the headlights, but to be fair that is his usual mien. Let’s break down what’s going on with Zende and how it could spell disaster for FC.

Zende’s Rant

Zende is a Forrester but he’s being treated the way he is because he’s the designer on HFTF. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has it out for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) who is in charge of the line and Zende is caught in the crossfire.

Steffy is the co-CEO and Carter is the FC lawyer so why did he rant to the latter and not the former? Good question!

To our way of thinking, this shows how out of touch and unapproachable Steffy is—proving Hope’s point.

Hope Has a Point

If Zende has beef with Steffy’s decision he should have gone to her with his feedback, not Carter. Obviously he didn’t feel comfortable doing that and this speaks poorly to Steffy’s leadership.

And yet she remains co-CEO despite a recent attempt by Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) to usurp her.

That is a whole different cockamamie story, but it underscores the fact that Steffy and her personal politics aren’t going anywhere. And that could be bad for FC.

Steffy’s Personal Politics

When Ridge talked to Steffy about making Brooke co-CEO she went ballistic and guilted him for being a bad dad. Huh? How about discussing business numbers, performance issues, etc?

Steffy brought up her traumatized childhood as a reason to keep her job. Well ok then, by that token we should all be king.

What we’re getting at is that Steffy is the weak link at FC and Hope, Brooke, and Zende know it. Ridge should listen to them because they are on the front lines while he draws sketches all day.

Zende also noted that Steffy made her brother, RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) the chosen one over him.

At this pace, Steffy will damage FC causing another scandal like the one in which Eric Forrester (John McCook) was fired.
