B&B Spoilers: Surrogacy or Adoption, Which New Parenthood Path Will Daphne & Carter Choose?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) may have to figure out another way to have a family.

Carter and Daphne have been hitting the sheets nonstop in hopes of conceiving a baby, but they were disappointed when her recent pregnancy test results were negative.

Although Carter feels confident Daphne’s going to get pregnant eventually, that may not be the direction this story is headed in. B&B may be setting up a tough twist that’ll force Daphne and Carter to consider other options.

Before Daphne agreed to marry Carter, she worried a family wasn’t in the cards for her. Daphne’s dialogue made it seem like she was doomed for infertility problems before this storyline even began.

Of course, it’s possible that Carter could be the issue here. Daphne could get a sperm donor if that’s the case, but we’re more inclined to believe the problem is on her end after she talked about feeling tired lately.

Carter and Daphne may ultimately have to consider using a surrogate or adopting a baby instead of having one naturally.

Daphne and Carter were really hoping to have a child of their own, so it may be difficult for them to accept the circumstances and pivot their plans.

Daphne might even pull away from Carter and try to push for a divorce. If Daphne blames herself for not being able to make Carter’s father dream come true herself, that could leave her feeling awfully blue.

Carter may have to convince Daphne that he’s still all in on their marriage and family, even if their vision has to look a bit different now.

Once Daphne and Carter come to grips with the situation, they may decide to embrace the change and get on board with whatever option they pursue.

If infertility is indeed a challenge on the horizon, what do you think Carter and Daphne will decide to do? Will Daphne and Carter go with surrogacy or perhaps adoption instead?

Either route could lead to some soapiness depending on how things play out. It’s possible the surrogate could be someone currently on canvas or a new character who’ll become a bigger part of the action with dramatic results!

Then again, maybe Daphne and Carter could adopt a baby with a wild birth mom who eventually stirs up trouble.

Regardless, Carter and Daphne might face a whole new set of obstacles once they settle on how to start their family.
