It should lead to a major confrontation between Steffy and Hope at some point, but Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) may come to his wife’s rescue.
Liam is obviously feeling super protective of Hope, especially after finding her passed out following her faceoff with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
The last thing Hope needs is more stress since she’s already feeling bad enough about her fractured relationship with Brooke.
Liam won’t want Steffy adding to Hope’s guilt trip, particularly since he doesn’t think she has anything to feel guilty about.
This could be a chance for Liam to play the hero for Hope and defend her against Steffy’s inevitable tirade.
Steffy may ultimately corner Hope to unleash a flurry of insults and accusations, but Liam could pop up to shut her down.
Perhaps Liam will rush to Hope’s defense and insist that if Steffy wants someone to blame, she should blame him instead.
This might be an excellent time for Liam to mention it was HIS idea for Hope to leave Forrester Creations behind.
As B&B fans will recall, Liam was the one who pushed Hope to ditch Hope for the Future so she could create something exciting and new at Logan.
Since Liam was fed up with Hope’s line constantly being in limbo at Forrester, he felt like she should join Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) fashion house instead and get all the support she needed to be a success.
Of course, Steffy won’t suddenly stop being angry with Hope, but Liam’s confession could strengthen her fury toward him and the Spencers in general. It’s clear that “Spencer” is becoming a dirty word in Forrester territory despite the fact that Steffy’s daughter, Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras), is one of them!
Regardless, Liam’s main role these days is to be Hope’s biggest defender, so he may try to take some of the blame off her.
If Liam spills the news that he’s the reason “Hope by Logan” even happened, it could lead to Steffy’s next outburst.
