B&B Spoilers: Is Ivy Mentally Unstable – The New Thomas When It Comes to Twisted Obsessions?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) just keeps getting worse and worse.

Ivy has no life of her own at this point and exists simply to control Electra Forrester’s (Laneya Grace) life instead.

It all started when Ivy suddenly became a prude and began having a problem with Electra spending too many nights at Will Spencer’s (Crew Morrow) place.

Then, Ivy stalked Will and Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) during their evening alone at the beach house while Electra was away. That led to Ivy’s “it’s not proper” mantra and her attempt to blackmail Dylan right out of Los Angeles.

When that plan blew up, Ivy exposed Dylan’s “improper” behavior and did her best to steer Electra away from Will.

That led to the stolen letter, the planted necklace and Ivy’s many attempts to push Electra in RJ Forrester’s (Brayan Nicoletti) direction.

Ivy’s actions obviously aren’t normal, so we have to ask: Is she mentally unstable? The longer this storyline goes on, the more out of control Ivy seems.

We get why Ivy would be protective of her niece, but all this manipulation goes beyond looking out for Electra.

It’s reminiscent of when Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) kept secrets and tried to orchestrate every little thing to be with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle).

Thomas made manipulative moves just like Ivy’s making and ultimately ended up needing mental health treatment.

The show finally let Thomas realize he had a problem, so he made an effort to correct it with therapy.

Thomas was previously fixated on having a future with Hope, but Ivy’s fixated on Electra having a future with RJ.

It just feels like Ivy is the new Thomas in some ways, so could she ultimately land in therapy and get some mental health treatment of her own?

Since Ashleigh Brewer will eventually need to go on maternity leave for her real-life pregnancy, Ivy’s B&B exit could bring an opportunity for her to find some mental stability again.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ivy will make some other rotten moves in the meantime, so don’t miss the bad news ahead for Will and Electra.
