Dylan (Sydney Bullock) shares a token of her appreciation. Meanwhile, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) helps Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) strike back.

Katie Logan Spencer’s Heartbreak

Fans know that there is a huge family feud over the Logan name. Apparently, Forrester Creations got a trademark on the name Logan years ago.

However, nothing was ever done with it. As a result, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) forgot to renew the trademark. 

While Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) is excited about her new venture and getting the Logan trademark, there is a sad part to the story. Katie has lost her relationship with her sister, Brooke.

Carter Walton Schemes

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Friday, January 2 reveal that FC losing the Logan trademark is Carter’s fault. The COO is the one who was supposed to keep up with that. The man forgot about it and as a result, the trademark was dropped a year ago.

However, instead of admitting fault, Carter is blaming Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

In fact, Carter went to see if Bill manipulated the system. Of course, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) did everything the legal way, but FC won’t stop trying to get it back.

Expect Carter to scheme with Brooke and Ridge on how to make sure Katie fails. That doesn’t say very much about their confidence in their own company, does it?

Dylan’s Token 

There is also Dylan, who was homeless. Once Will and Electra found out, they offered her a place to stay. Dylan is really grateful and wants to show her appreciation in a tangible way. It’s not clear how she does that.

However, there is something more concerning about Dylan. While she seems like a nice girl, a preview clip suggests she could become obsessed with Will. What does that mean for Electra’s romance as well as her friendship with Dylan?
