The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Dylan (Sydney Bullock) knew how she felt about Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) when she met him.
So, it’s time to make a move now that his girlfriend, Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), feels betrayed. Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) did get carried away but wasn’t fully wrong. She exaggerated what she witnessed to fit her intentions.
Dylan wasn’t throwing herself at Will as aggressively as Ivy claimed. But viewers know that Dylan was far from passive and that how she responds after Will shared that he saw RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) kissing Electra.
Timing Is Everything In California In The Daytime
Ivy wanted Electra to learn the hard way what type of man Will is, or at least what Brewer’s character thinks of him. That happened through a series of carefully manipulated circumstances.
RJ didn’t just happen to find Electra crying. Ivy knew her niece was hurting and wanted Nicoletti’s character to comfort her.
However, Will walking in at the exact moment RJ decided to kiss Electra represented a classic daytime event. That had to happen to push Will back to the beach house, where he bore his soul to Dylan.
Crew Morrow Provides James Dean Effect
Many storied movie actors could be cited as historical references. There are also various daytime stars from days gone by that could be mentioned.
But one way to look at Morrow’s acting style in the aftermath of the showroom incident would be to label him as B&B’s modern edition of James Dean.
Joshua Morrow’s (Nick Newman on sister show, The Young and the Restless) son is coming into his own, which includes the dramatic performance he gave with his scene partner, Bullock.
Credit to this young actor who projected emotional depth that drew viewers in. Kudos as well to Bullock, who has quickly moved from side to regular character status, also delivering nuanced performances.
Electra Forrester Probably Walks Away
This subject header is intentionally open-ended. Who will she walk away from? At first, Will stands to lose Electra as his girlfriend. That fits with this storyline’s momentum, where Grace’s character revisits her connection with Nicoletti’s and seals it.
However, the intended second part of this analysis of Electra also includes her walking away from Ivy after the whole truth is exposed. That result will include great drama along the soapy way.
Ironically, Ivy accused Dylan of being a manipulator, and then Brewer’s alter ego purposely manipulated multiple situations so she could break Electra from Will and reposition her with RJ.
Yet, once Will and Electra split, assuming they do, it probably won’t be feasible to reconcile. So, he could be with Dylan, and Electra could bond with RJ, as Ivy hoped.
