Li Finnegan’s Case

Let’s begin by talking about how Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) ended up being Daphne’s doctor.

It was made clear that Li was just filling in as Daphne’s regular doctor had a sudden emergency. However, Li also assured Daphne that she is very familiar with her case file.

For a few moments, I thought Li might be mistaken, but she’s sure of the diagnosis of premature menopause.

Li understands both sides of it. She’s not only a doctor, but also adopted a child herself. So, I wish Daphne would have listened when Li said there were other options.

At the same time, Daphne has a lot to process before she even considers other options.

The Nose is having a tough time accepting that her body is going through early menopause. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) offered her own eggs, but Daphne refused. The lady insisted she wanted her own baby.

John Finnegan’s Marriage Crisis

We already know that later this week, Steffy and Finn will be on opposite sides of an issue. This has nothing to do with conception and is about Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown). However, with Daphne facing infertility and Finn being adopted, they could have something to talk about.

I also wonder if Daphne and Finn could end up giving into temptation. Daphne has never shown interest in Finn like that before.

However, between Daphne feeling like she’s failed Carter and SINN’s demise, it seems a one-night stand could happen. What are the chances that Finn accidentally becomes a dad again?

Going a step further, how will Daphne tell Carter that she has a miracle baby, but he’s not the father? What will this do to Steffy and Daphne’s friendship?
