Y&R Spoilers: Will Cane Ashby Get An Unexpected Romance?The Young and the Restless spoilers imply that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has returned to the canvas, and it looks like he has his sights set on reuniting with his ex-wife, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

With that said, will the writers give fans a plot twist by presenting ‘Aristotle Dumas’ with an unexpected romance?

Cane Ashby Never Let Go

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Cane has carried a torch for Lily all these years. He left the land of GC in 2019 and built an empire under the Dumas persona; however, it seems as if his heart continues to yearn for his ex-wife. In fact, he mentioned as such during the week of June 23-27, even though for Lily, a romantic reunion is a ‘hard no’.

So, could someone else come along to help him forget about his ex-wife and the mother of his kids?

New & Unexpected Romance

The romantic possibilities are plentiful for Cane, even though he may not know it yet! First off, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has been chomping at the bit to work with ‘Dumas’ and that hasn’t wavered since she found out he was really Cane.

He agreed to hire her somewhere in his organization, so will he decide to mix a little business with pleasure with ‘Red’?

Then again, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) could be an option. Sure, she’s with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) right now, but considering the two are rivals, if Cane can snag Sally out from under Billy, this would only intensify their feud.

What about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver)? She remarked how Dumas/Cane was easy on the eyes when she first met him, and while she’s with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), this romance might be living on borrowed time considering her plan with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to break up Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).
