‘Y&R’ Spoilers Weekly Update: Old Evil Returns, Nick’s Payoff, Tessa’s Exploration

The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for the week of December 29, 2025!  Fans can expect Ian Ward (Ray Wise) to haunt Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).

Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) decides to figure out her feelings for Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Graziadei).

Old Evil Villain Returns

Let’s kick off this post with Mariah. Fans already know that the woman is in a psychiatric clinic. The redhead has trauma from Ian, which led her to try to kill a man (Michael Swan) with her bare hands. 

Unfortunately, Mariah doesn’t seem to be getting much better. Instead, she actually seems to be getting worse. Once again, fans will see Mariah haunted by Ian.

Tessa Porter’s Exploration

Over with Tessa, the singer can’t put her entire life on hold for Mariah. Besides, since Mariah is pushing everyone away, Tessa needs to find a way to move forward. Tessa is working and raising a child on her own now. 

Meanwhile, Tessa has also been developing feelings for Daniel. So, she will start to explore those feelings. Then, at the end of the week, Daniel ends up making Tessa a promise.

Nick Newman’s Payoff

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Nick will arrange to meet with Matt. However, it doesn’t quite go the way that Nick predicts. Matt certainly likes to play mind games and goes to extremes.

Now the man who has kidnapped Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). While Nick offered him a payoff, there is no guarantee that Sienna will be freed. Matt also mentioned considering killing off Noah Newman (Lucas Adams).

However, by the time Friday comes around, Matt has to face off with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)!

What Else to Expect

Fans can also expect Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to get an unexpected gift from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Jack learns a secret from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is rewarded for his loyalty. 

Elsewhere, Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) defends herself. However, will her future be with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) or Holden Novak (Nathan Owens)?

Also, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) tries to get another chance with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). 

Additionally, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) discuss their complicated history.
