The Newman Family Unites

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 31, imply that the Newmans don’t always land on the same page, but in the aftermath of everything that unraveled at Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) summer party, they will. (Make sure to check out our Weekly Y&R spoilers, here!)

It sounds like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will lead the family in this unification, so fans should expect them to come together in the wake of tragedy, but to also form an alliance against their newest threat … Cane!

Shick Awkwardness

Speaking of the Newmans, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will share some awkwardness in light of their kiss in France.

Nick was dealing with a life-threatening injury, and Sharon was by his side (as usual), and the two shared a steamy lip lock.

Still, it sounds like they might be back in GC during the July 31 episode, or Nick and Sharon may have a chat as Nick is released from the hospital in France, but one thing is for certain: the Shick reunion won’t go as smoothly as some fans thought, as Y&R viewers should expect some complications.

Diane & Jack Abbott Worry

Lastly, The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday hint that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Abbott (Susan Jenkins) will worry about their son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Kyle may be an adult, but a parent’s work is never done … especially in the land of soaps!

Kyle was shaken to learn that Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) had passed, and even more upset that he wasn’t there for Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) because he was in Nice (with no cell service, to boot!).

With that said, as Kyle’s animosity grows toward Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will he be tempted to out her and Victor for their ‘seduction’ plan?

Kyle needs to read the room and keep this to himself, as Claire needs Victor now and doesn’t need the drama and chaos that would accompany Kyle’s reveal.
