Summer Newman’s Painful Reality Check

Fans know that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has been pining after her ex-husband. However, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is dating Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin).

After another passive-aggressive encounter with Kyle and Claire, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) confronts his love interest. 

Even though Summer initially denies having feelings for her ex-husband, Chance presses her. Finally, Summer will confess that it’s true and she feels awful about it.

At the same time, Summer will also wish Claire would just disappear. So, if Claire ends up going missing, Summer could end up a suspect!

Phyllis Summers & Sharon Newman’s Justice Quest

During the week of April 7, Phyllis and Sharon learn shocking information about their kidnapper. Chance informs them that the clues have led them to a Paris psychiatric clinic.

Sharon and Phyllis then realize that is where Alan Laurent/Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) sent Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) for dissociative identity disorder (DID) treatment. 

Chance asks them to give him time to follow up on the lead. However, the two women form an alliance as they seek justice. This sounds like they could take matters into their own hands! 

Confronting Alan Laurent

Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is panicked over her suspicions regarding Alan/Martin. Traci will get surprised when Alan/Martin suddenly walks through the door.

While Traci will be happy to see the man she loves, she also has to ask him some tough questions. At some point, Traci sends out a distress call. Could Traci’s life be in danger?

Meanwhile, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) considers a tempting offer.

During the week of April 14, expect Audra to make some controversial choices. That could indicate Audra takes Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) up on his offer. Audra would be just one more complication in Kyle and Claire’s relationship. 

There should also be some more puzzle pieces in the Dumas mystery. Just who is this mysterious man, and what is his goal in Genoa City? What does this mean for Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) and Holden Novak’s (Nathan Owens) future?
