Y&R Spoilers: How Phyllis Plans To Derail Daniel’s Tessa Obsession

The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) might interfere with Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) fixation on a married woman.

Phyllis appears ready to caution her son against Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and attempt to put an end to this romance.

Phyllis Will See Something Unexpected And Shocking

In the Y&R episode airing on November 24, Phyllis will unexpectedly turn a corner at the Genoa City Athletic Club and witness something surprising. After their wedding reception performance and some intimate moments, Daniel will share a passionate kiss with Tessa.

This will result in Phyllis catching the kiss along with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), who may suggest that she should refrain from interfering in her adult children’s romantic affairs.

Cane might contend that the heart desires what it desires and imply that Daniel is capable of making his own choices. Naturally, Phyllis has never been one to keep quiet in situations like these.

Phyllis Will Confront Her Son To Give Him Some Advice, Perhaps Happy He’s Moving On

Given that Phyllis always believes she knows what’s best, it’s only a matter of time before she confronts Daniel for a talk. Initially, Phyllis appeared to be happy about Tessa’s friendship with Daniel, as she was worried about him after Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) passing.

However, the relationship between Daniel and Tessa has evolved beyond mere friendship, which gives Phyllis valid reasons for concern. We must remember that Phyllis has witnessed all the ups and downs of Tessa’s romantic journey with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).

Phyllis has observed the complicated obstacles that Mariah and Tessa have already navigated, leading her to suspect that Tessa’s feelings for Daniel might just be a fleeting phase.

Phyllis Might Remind Daniel That There Are Other Fish In The Sea, And He Should Seek An Available One

Perhaps Phyllis will remind Daniel that there are many fish in the sea and encourage him to seek one who isn’t married to someone she’s bound to reconnect with.

From Phyllis’ viewpoint, Daniel is setting himself up for yet another heartbreak. It seems unlikely that Daniel will heed her advice, so Phyllis may next attempt to dissuade Tessa from pursuing Daniel.

Phyllis might encourage Tessa to realize that she’s squandering Daniel’s time and nudge her to be patient for Mariah’s recovery.

If all else fails, Phyllis could resort to her usual tactics and engage in some clever scheming;  she might devise other methods to slow down Daniel and Tessa’s budding relationship.
