Victor Newman’s Low Blow

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, May 9, suggest that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get under Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) skin with a low blow. So, what will Victor say that will cut like a knife?

Victor wants nothing more than to see his granddaughter, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), break up with Kyle, and as The Moustache has solicited Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to help, he might set the young man up for a downfall.

Will Victor remind Kyle how attracted he was to Audra, and how different she is from Claire? Then again, he may comment on how unsuccessful Kyle was when he branched out from Jabot, only to go back to the “family company”.

Claire Newman’s Reality Check

Speaking of Claire, her grandmother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), will give her a dose of reality during Friday’s show. What could this be about? Nikki’s a supporter of Kylaire, so this can’t be about Claire’s relationship with Kyle … can it?

Perhaps Niki’s ‘reality check’ for Claire has to do with the fact that Victor will never accept her and Kyle together. Claire does need to get over this idea and move on!

Chelsea Lawson’s Work Struggles

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday remind fans that it’s never a good sign when you are a few days into a new job and struggling! Still, here Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is. Is it too late to go back to Marchetti?

Regardless, Chelsea was looking forward to a challenge when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) asked her to help him lead Newman Communications. Will these two eventually land on the same page, or will Victor continue to be a thorn in their side?
