Y&R Spoilers: Everyone Is A Suspect In New Cane Whodunit?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is a whodunit magnet.

First, there were three unfortunate incidents at his estate in Nice, France, and now there looks to be another one brewing in GC. Will this be the time that Cane himself is injured? Let’s unpack what lies ahead Y&R fans!

Is Cane a Target?

Cane invited half of GC to his chateau where nothing but mayhem ensued. Three people died and another was seriously injured. Based on his unsettling behavior, Cane was warned to stay far away from Genoa City.

He didn’t listen and now is in the line of fire as he tries to build a life among the people he endangered. Citizen Cane envisions himself as a mogul and is buying GC properties in a bid to outduel Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), the town’s OG.

Understandably, Cane is enemy number one around town, so he’s got a target on his back. Everyone at the Nice vacation, plus their loved ones, have motivation to teach Cane a lesson.
Will this result in a whodunit with Cane as the victim?

Is Cane a Whodunit Victim?

It would be more surprising if Cane skated free and clear from all the dirty tricks he pulled on his guests. It’s more likely that someone goes after him, and it could even be someone not related to the party but with a vendetta nonetheless.

After all, Cane was away for years, doing who knows what, so it’s safe to assume he has made enemies given his diabolical way of conducting business.

Tell us Y&R fans, who do you think has a good motive to go after Cane? Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) are good candidates for payback.

The Newmans and the Abbotts were also snookered, so if something untoward happens to Cane, they would be reasonable suspects as well.

Then there is the threatening person Cane believed was after him in France—might they come out of the woodwork to get the job done?
