Y&R Spoilers: Cane’s Ruthless Ploy Stuns Phyllis, Red’s Betrayal Leads To a Showdown?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are getting closer, including getting intimate and working closely together. But the Y&R fans can’t shake the feeling that Cane is playing Phyllis and she’s about to find out the truth.

Right now, Phyllis and Cane are hot and heavy. They seem to be getting along well, with nothing in their way. However, Cane still wants Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) back. That isn’t likely to change, no matter how close he gets to Phyllis.

Could Cane Ashby Set Phyllis Up?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Cane could be setting Phyllis up for a major scheme.

Cane knows that Phyllis is into him. He could be using affection and attention to distract Phyllis as he sets her up to take the fall for the AI software.

That’s right, Cane could have a plan that she’ll take the fall for stealing his AI software and plot revenge against her.

She wouldn’t see him coming as she trusts that he wants to be with her. It could be a genius plan, but Red will unleash her fury if it comes to that.

Cane’s Devotion To Lily Is A Clue

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Cane’s devotion to Lily is a big clue that he cannot be serious about Phyllis. He knows Phyllis stole his AI program.

At first, he suspected Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) could have stolen his program, but later decided it was Phyllis. The viewers saw Phyllis steal it on the show, so at some point, she’ll face some type of consequences.

With Cane knowing Phyllis stole his AI program, it only makes sense that is why he has cozied up to the redhead.

He wants her to feel comfortable around him so when he strikes with his revenge plan, she won’t see it coming.

It’s pretty clear that Cane is using Phyllis to sort of the AI mess while he continues to fight for Lily. His endgame is a relationship with Lily and his children. Phyllis is a distraction and a way to find a way to get his AI program out of Victor’s hands.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that a war between Phyllis and Cane is errupting. It’s only a matter of time before things turn toxic between them.
