While he’s certainly someone who always loves to speak his mind, he doesn’t always love talking to people who don’t share the same opinions or sentiments as he does, especially when it comes to the state of affairs in the country.

Clearly, we are talking about The Young and the Restless star Eric Braeden, who is best known for his role as Victor Newman on the hit CBS soap. The actor has made it pretty clear on more than several occasions that he is no fan of President Donald Trump.

In fact, it’s safe to say that the actor loathes the current sitting president of the United States and that he also thinks Trump’s policies are ruining the country, if not also destroying the world, too.

But here’s the thing: one of Eric’s social media fans pointed out in his comments section that his The Young and the Restless character, Victor Newman, is acting more and more like Donald Trump with his “my way or the highway” mentality. Yikes!

That’s because just like Trump, Victor is someone who never takes the blame for his mistakes.

Sure, Victor is the man he is today because he’s never taken any you-know-what over the years. But at the same time, his self-righteous behavior might also be contributing to his downfall.

And the worst part is, because of Victor, his entire family has become adult “cry babies” according to The Young and the Restless fans.

They just can’t take their sulky attitude anymore, especially when everything that could go wrong for the Newmans ends up going wrong.

For someone like Eric Braeden, there’s no doubt that he doesn’t like the comparison, seeing how he absolutely loathes Donald Trump. But if you put the two and two together, it certainly makes sense, right?

Then again, we have a feeling that Eric is not going to sleep well at night knowing that he’s portraying a character that is being compared to a man he would rather not be in the same room as!
