Cane recently confronted Damian, urging him to reconsider the job offer from Winters; Damian hesitated, as he no longer takes orders from ‘Aristotle Dumas.’
However, Cane warned him to steer clear of Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) entirely- this warning felt like a subtle threat, so Damian should definitely be cautious!
This is particularly relevant since Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) felt an unsettling chill as she hugged Damian before their trip to Nice.
Could it be that Amy is sensing the trouble that Damian is about to encounter? Depending on how this storyline unfolds, Damian might find himself framed for something he didn’t do.
Damian Found Cane’s Knife Collection On The Train, He Picked One Up
After Damian discovered Cane’s knife collection on the train, he picked up one of the blades. This seemed like a way for the show to ensure Damian’s fingerprints would be on the knife that will be used shortly.
Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) teased in a Cameo video about an upcoming “murder mystery extravaganza” on Y&R; however, it’s possible Morrow actually meant an attempted murder mystery if the intended victim survives.
Cane expressed to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) his fear that someone might try to kill him, so perhaps someone will indeed make an attempt. What if Cane is stabbed and then accuses someone afterward?
Cane Could Be Seriously Wounded, And He Could Accuse The Wrong Party
Cane could end up badly hurt, but a billionaire like him likely has medical help ready – especially if he thinks someone might target him. There may be some tense moments for Cane, but he could survive and eventually blame one partygoer for trying to eliminate him.
Is it possible that Cane might not be certain about who the culprit is and still accuses Damian; that’s one possibility to think about.
But Cane might also know who is responsible and choose to protect that person if the situation is tricky-Cane might opt to use this opportunity to falsely accuse Damian instead.
With Damian’s fingerprints on the murder weapon and Cane’s possibly fabricated story, Damian could find himself arrested eventually-upcoming spoilers tease Cane’s cunning side could lead to some surprises for Damian.
