The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) believes Jabot will be fine. That also leads him to project bravado about a potentially short-lived Abbott Communications.
Billy doesn’t know that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is on the precipice of launching his second attack. The Moustache took out Arabesque first, but his most desired target, Jabot, is next, as he told Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Adam was told what’s coming. His father also said that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be forcibly humbled with the artificial intelligence weapon Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) stole as part of a quid pro quo.
Working For Phyllis Summers Is Out Of The Question
Phyllis was stunned when she learned that Victor used the AI tool to take Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) company down. She told Braeden’s character that wasn’t part of their deal.
As is his bent when challenged, Victor moved close to his opponent for intimidation purposes. He told Phyllis that they weren’t partners and that was never part of any deal he made.
Instead, he said she will realize what was requested in exchange for hacking into Arabesque’s computer system and illegally downloading the AI weapon. Victor will put her atop Jabot.
But viewers know Jack and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will go wild if that happens. Billy will never agree to work for Phyllis, who would then be the backer of Abbott Communications, unless, of course, that head would be Victor.
Will Victor Newman Head Jabot?
Victor holds Jack accountable for Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) perceived near-death incident. But everyone, except Victor, realizes that Jack imperiled his life and that Nikki’s was never in doubt.
Nevertheless, in the myopic outlook that Victor projects, Jack is responsible and must be held accountable. So, Cane’s misguided attempt to regain Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) trust has resulted in Victor taking advantage and twisting the outcome against his longtime enemy.
What would outrage Jack more, Phyllis heading Jabot or Victor?
Any fan or resident of this famous Midwestern town knows the answer to the above question. Although Victor could sell Jabot off in parts, which would humiliate Jake and leave Phyllis with nothing for her efforts.
Adam Newman Is Allowed To Drop The Hammer
Billy may believe that he sees three moves ahead on the chessboard. But Victor is the master, no matter what Thompson’s character chooses to think.
Riding high on media promotion, Billy is certain that bright days are ahead for the business Jack funded and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) heads. But the soapy rug is about to be yanked from under him.
Victor seems inclined to allow Adam to have the honors of sticking it to Billy one more time. That type of checkmate would create intense fire in daytime.
