Y&R Spoilers: Amanda Returns To Genoa City For Cane – Lily Suspicious

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) makes her way to Genoa City, Wisconsin, for a specific reason. Last seen in the south of France, Morgan’s character is needed to help her boss.

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is attempting to execute his grand takeover plan. But he’s been temporarily sidetracked by Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) preemptive attack.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) finally followed through on his father’s orders and delivered a worldwide smear.

Newman Media exposed Cane’s Aristotle Dumas cover, which has thrown his personal life into a tenuous tizzy. So, he needs Amanda by his side.

Cane Ashby Isn’t Going It Alone

Cane talks about needing players on his team. He can’t go it alone because he needs underlings to help him create whatever force is necessary to compromise GC’s legacy family companies.

Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) was the only guy in town that Cane was trusting to help him manage the vast amount of properties Arabesque recently acquired.

The firing that happened weeks ago, when Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) was still living, was a ruse when it came to Holden’s position. He remained employed, albeit in a cloaked fashion.

Various people, including Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), now know that Holden is working for Cane. But she hasn’t been able to determine exactly what he’s doing. Amanda likely knows.

Amanda Sinclair Has A Unique Perspective

Going against the bosses’ wishes generally isn’t good, as Adam learned when he didn’t publish the super slam Victor wanted applied while everyone was trapped on Cane’s estate. Amanda finds herself in a different position.

Cane forgave Amanda for unblocking the cell signal after Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) needed emergency help. Flynn’s character told her it was the right move, and their top-down connection appeared to be restored.

But the audience might be wondering if Cane and Amanda have been, are, or will be involved beyond business?

The creation of a triangle would be useful if Amanda has romantic intentions toward Cane. Lily still has feelings for her ex-husband, but rightly doesn’t trust him at this point in the plot.

Lily Winters Focused On Family First

Lily is clear when it comes to the children she and Cane share. The twins’ well-being is all that matters, and both parents agree.

Cane didn’t anticipate his alter ego being revealed so soon. That development prevented him from telling Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) about what he’s been doing these past six years since leaving GC.

Seeing Cane and Lily reunite would be engaging if that storyline is properly built and realizes a believable outcome through remarriage.

However, fans know they are a long way from Lily not trusting this recast version of Cane to that happening.

However, inserting Amanda into the daytime mix would provide the type of soapy jolt that would supercharge this tale and surely catch Lily’s interest, along with everyone who was lured to France earlier this summer.
