Y&R Spoilers: A Furious Claire Is Coming After Kyle’s Big Choice

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) decided to tell a lie. He told Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), the woman he claims to love, part of what happened on Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) estate in France.

But it’s fair to wonder if Kyle only divulged what he did because Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) purposely mentioned the phone charger. She did that to unnerve Claire and prod Kyle, with the dual effort being successful.

Those in Genoa City, Wisconsin, who practice creative morality disagree that withholding information is lying. Many characters demonstrate this flaw, including Kyle and Audra.

Audra Charles Does Like Kyle Abbott

Audra’s defense mechanism is to protect herself by appearing not to be impacted by whatever happens to other people. But her collusion with Kyle, when they worked for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in the recent past, created a surprise.

Silver’s character didn’t expect to fall for Kyle during that period in the plot. So, she played off the depth of her feelings when Kyle claimed, or at least feigned, no interest and cut her off.

That made Audra’s latest play for Kyle in France, under the guise of Victor’s scheme, intriguing. She has remnant feelings for Claire’s fiancé but doesn’t want Kyle or anyone else to know that.

Nate Hastings Loses In This Scenario

She’s demonstrated vulnerability, for the most part, with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). He genuinely cares for her, and Audra knows that they can have a future together if all goes well.

Agreeing to Victor’s plan to pretend to make a play for Kyle was a reckless choice and one that she partially concealed from Nate. While Dominic’s character believes Audra is committed to him, he’s also been concerned that her latest link to Victor would go bad, and it just did.

Audra has already had the funding for Vibrante cut off by Victor. She betrayed Nate by kissing Kyle in France. She’s also no closer to getting Kyle if that’s the man she wants.

Claire Newman Learned Lessons From Jordan Howard

Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) was a terrible person. She stole Claire at birth from her parents and raised her as part of a bizarre revenge plot against Victor.

Claire has moved ahead, but will always have a part of her mind affected by Jordan’s influence. One element of that negative effect is responding with determined fury against perceived betrayers.

Victor is on Claire’s hit list based on his behavior on the day of her father’s memorial service.

While Audra is Claire’s target now, Erin’s character is set to shift her gaze to Kyle when she learns that he’s lied to her about what happened with Audra. Their relationship is fracturing with a break increasingly possible.
