‘Y&R’ Spoilers: 3 Confessions Phyllis Needs To Make To Save Her Relationship With Cane

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is in deep with her boss/fling Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Maybe Phyllis should try something new to keep her man—honesty?

In the December 1 episode, Cane comes across yet another public bashing between Phyllis and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). After Lily stomps out, Cane lets Red have it and says he’s picked a side.

Does he mean Lily, the mother of his children? He has far more invested in her than in liar Phyllis so we suspect that she gets a little scared. We have some advice for Phyllis: tell Cane the truth and see how far that gets you.

Will Phyllis Confess?

Let’s assume that Phyllis does the right thing to keep her affair going into the New Year. Here’s what that might look like:

1) Phyllis Says She Stole The AI Program

Phyllis didn’t come clean to Cane about stealing his AI program. She then gave it to his arch enemy Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). So now Victor has the ability to ruin Cane’s company, Arabesque.

Cane has asked her if she stole it, and now is a good time to come clean—because what does she have to lose?

2) Phyllis Tells Cane How She Really Feels

Phyllis should consider telling Cane how she feels about him if in fact he is considering betting all of his pennies on Lily. Up to now she’s torn down Lily, but what if she plays up herself?

3) Phyllis Deploys a Plan to Help Cane

Last, if Phyllis helps Cane best Victor, she may get on a good footing with him. Phyllis has mentioned a new project, so she could turn on Victor and help Cane take down Newman.

With Phyllis’ understanding of the AI program’s capabilities, she could help Cane in secret and thus thwart Victor and he wouldn’t see it coming.

However this plays out, it’s clear that Phyllis needs something big to trump Cane’s pursuit of Lily. Do you think that being honest with him is the way to go?
