Y&R Comings & Goings July 21-25: Leading Man Exit – Sketchy Assistant Takes Center Stage

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of July 21-25 imply some major moments, plus a flurry of casting changes! Find out ‘who’s coming and who’s going’ in the land of Genoa City over the next five days down below.

So Long, Damian Kane!

The Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that Jermaine Rivers has wrapped up his run as Damian Kane. Poor Damian met his demise during the Monday, July 14 show, after he was stabbed in the back by an unknown attacker.

Damian entered the canvas in a highly mysterious fashion in February of this year, as it was revealed he was the son of Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) and the half-brother of Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Just as he was settling in the land of Genoa City, this happened.

The character even secured a nice romance with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) while in France, so this is sad news on all fronts. Who murdered Damian? Only time will tell!

Carter Gets More Airtime

Speaking of who may have murdered Damian, Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) trusted, yet sketchy assistant, Carter, played by Vincent Stalba, will get more airtime next week.

In fact, he’ll decide to take matters into his own hands when he takes Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) prisoner before they try to escape Cane’s property to get help.

Is Carter the one targeting Cane and the one who stabbed Damian? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

In related news, Y&R viewers will see more of Chance Chancellor, played by Conner Floyd, as the cop attempts to get to the bottom of Damian’s stabbing.

Meanwhile, Mishael Morgan will also be seen during the week of July 21, as she tries to help Cane out of this legal sticky situation, while also questioning his motives and innocence.
