‘Survivor 49’ Episode 13 Finale Spoilers Preview: An Injury, A Target & Tons Of Emotion

Survivor Preview ‘Survivor 49’, Episode 13, Finale Preview: An Injury, A Target & Tons Of EmotionAs Survivor 49 continues, Episode 12 was an interesting episode, as the six remaining contestants scrambled to ensure they snagged their spot in the final five.

When all said and done, Steven was voted out and joined the jury, leaving Kristina, Savannah, Sage, Rizo, and Sophi heading into the final leg of this competition. So, what’s happening during Survivor 49 Finale, Episode 13? Time to find out!

Next Time On Survivor …

The CBS reality show released its preview for Episode 13 (the finale) after Episode 12, and here’s the scoop. The promo opens with the final five walking along the beach, as a close-up of Rizo is shown, looking very pensive.

As the scenes shift, a clip reveals a challenge that will be highlighted during the three-hour finale, another gruesome obstacle course. Someone can be heard screaming, as Survivor host Jeff Probst boldly proclaims, “This is it, right here!”

Kristina, drenched from head to toe in mud, comes down a massive slide within the obstacle course and yelps in pain as she hits the bottom. Will she suffer an injury that takes her out of the game? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

Sage Is In The Zone

As the Survivor 49 Finale preview continues, Sage is at camp, wearing a hoodie, and she has a look of disgust on her face.

She states, “I’m in the zone, and I have my eyes on the target.” The camera then pans to a bag in a tree, presumably, and an advantage of some sort that Sage (or any of the other contestants) can snag.

Rizo is then revealed at camp, telling someone that he doesn’t want to make them mad, while Savannah notes in a confessional that she knows people are gunning for her, but she feels like she’s “got this”.

Sophi is shown next in the Survivor Finale preview clip, walking in the jungle with Sage and Savannah, when she lets out a growl and falls to the ground. It almost looks as if she’s doing it in a joking fashion, but it’s a little hard to tell.

She’s likely okay, because in the following scene, Sophi says that the $1M is “fueling her”. An emotional Rizo is then shown telling Savannah in the jungle that he wants to do this for his family.

A clip of him in a confessional is revealed, where he states that, “All bets are off. This is where legends are born.”

Before the promo ends, a mirage of clips hits the screen of all five Survivor finalists during challenges, and then the words “Wednesday, December 17” flash across the screen.
