He noted that reports claiming King Charles wants to see the disgraced couple become “invisible by Christmas” are unconfirmed and “just pure speculation at this point.” Nevertheless, the Duchess and Andrew do have some major problems related to the fallout from her admitted acceptance of at least £15,000 from the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.

A New Drama Arises

Neil Sean explained that a new drama now impacts the Duchess’s career and reputation. A forthcoming streaming series titled The Lady, starring Natalie Dormer, explores the life of Jane Andrews. Fergie’s former royal dresser “went on to have a rather checkered life.”

Apparently, the  production now poses a severe new problem for Sarah Ferguson. Natalie Dormer gave an interview to Variety and announced her plan to donate her entire salary from the show to children’s charities because she “is appalled at the association that Sarah had with Epstein.”

The royal commentator believes this move delivers a powerful blow because it highlights the negative connection between the Duchess and the convicted sex offender.

Impact on Revenue Streams

Additionally, the widening scandal negatively impacts the Duchess’s established revenue streams. For years, she worked on semi-autobiographical, historical novels with hopes of seeing one adapted into a miniseries.

However, all momentum behind those projects has “been put on pause alongside many other revenue streams regarding the Duchess of York,” Sean explained.

The loss of her work follows seven charities dumping her as a patron or ambassador. Not only that, but right now, Sean opined, the Duke and Duchess don’t know what new leaks might surface next, causing great uncertainty.

Royal watchers now suggest the monarchy may not only strip the Yorks of their titles but also seek their physical removal to a remote location like Balmoral. The only saving grace for Prince Andrew remains the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell insists the infamous photograph of him with a victim is “a totally fake picture.”
