Sarah Ferguson Dropped by Charities Over Letter Defending Jeffrey Epstein

The royal news cycle has entered another uproar, and no, it has nothing to do with Prince Harry or Meghan Markle this time.

In fact, one might even say that it has nothing to do with Prince Andrew. That is, if you choose to tilt your head at the wrong angle. But one might still say so if they wish to.

The main player in this latest scandal is the one we know as Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. According to new reports, she called Jeffrey Epstein a “supreme friend” in leaked letter.

Oh wow, is that right? Stick around for the full story, will ya?

Seven Charities Say It Would Be “Inappropriate” To Stay Involved With Sarah Ferguson

Sarah Ferguson is being dropped left and right by charities that she was once affiliated with in light of the latest scandal.

Teenage Cancer Trust and British Heart Foundation are among those who have swiftly cut ties with the former wife of the late Queen Elizabeth’s third child.

Children’s charity Julia’s House released a statement immediately after the leak to declare that it would be “inappropriate” to maintain a relationship with Sarah Ferguson, especially seeing the depth of her friendship with Epstein.

This whole nasty situation started when the Daily Mail published an exposé, which revealed that the Duchess of York begged Jeffrey Epstein for forgiveness.

You see, Sarah Ferguson had publicly condemned Epstein when he was accused and arrested as a child sex abuser, only to go undercover and beg for his forgiveness via a letter.

The letter was said to be so glowingly sweet, she described the pedophile as a “supreme friend.”

The founders of Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, Nadim and Tanya Ednan-Laperouse, publicly reacted to this in a statement.

“We were disturbed to read of Sarah, Duchess of York’s, correspondence with Jeffrey Epstein,” they wrote.

“Sarah Ferguson has not been actively involved with the charity for some years. She was a patron but, in the light of the recent revelations, we have taken the decision that it would be inappropriate for her to continue to be associated with the charity. We would like to thank her for her kindness and support in the past.”
