While there’s no doubt that she was, is, and will always be considered the one true love of his life, it looks like she has some regrets about the past, too. In fact, there’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests Queen Camilla is going to have this one regret about King Charles’ death.
Queen Camilla Is Dreading King Charles’s Death
Queen Camilla is going to have this one regret about King Charles’ death. As many royal fans and critics alike now, if there was one thing that was missing from the King of England’s life, it was the luxury of time.
He didn’t get to spend as much time Camilla in his life as he was hoping to, and especially during the early years of their relationship, and he didn’t get to spend as much time on the throne as he was hoping for as well.
That’s because he had spent a lifetime waiting for his mother Queen Elizabeth to die before he became king.
But for Camilla, she wishes that she could turn back time and do things a little differently. If she would have spoken up more in the 1970s, then perhaps there would have been a chance that she and Charles could have gotten together then and not waited until he divorced Princess Diana in the early 1990s.
Queen Camilla Wishes She Could Spend More Time With Her Husband
Of course, that’s all wishful thinking but Camilla did spend the majority of the 1980’s hiding out simply because she was cast as the “other woman” in Charles’ marriage to Diana.
Camilla believes that if she would have been more determined to have gotten what she wanted out of the relationship early on, things would have been different between them.
But now that King Charles is possibly counting down the months or even weeks that he has left to live, Camilla wants to make the most out of it. She might have regrets about the past, but there’s no way that she’s going to regret the present.
