Prince William And Princess Kate Finally Lets Son Prince George Step Onto the Royal Stage

The Prince and Princess of Wales have always prioritized privacy for their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, only letting them attend a few minor royal events a year.

However, Prince George’s latest engagement is different from the previous ones, as the 12-year-old smoothly filled in for his father, Prince William at a very important event.

Prince George Has Entered Training Mode, Royal Expert Claims

According to the Daily Mail’s Diary Editor, Richard Eden, Prince George has officially entered a new stage of his royal life.

Speaking on George accompanying his mother to this year’s Festival of Remembrance, Eden said: “What we are seeing now is a new royal in training, Prince George.”

“At the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, we saw his mother, Catherine, gently leading the way and really showing how Prince George could handle public engagements in the future,” Eden continued.

“It’s an event of remembrance, and it’s one which is very close to the hearts of the Royal Family, also one which Prince George is very interested in.”

But this isn’t the very first event of its kind that George has attended, as the future King put up an appearance at the 70th anniversary of VE Day at Buckingham Palace, alongside his father. He was even captured paying close attention to his father’s chat with a veteran.

Eden said: “We saw him earlier this year, meeting veterans at Buckingham Palace when there was a tea party to celebrate the 70th anniversary of VE Day. Even though he is very young, he managed to have conversations with these veterans, and you could see he was taking a real interest.”

Eden believes these recent Prince George appearances aren’t a one-off thing, and we’ll be seeing more of them in the future.

At present, George is settling into his new home at Forest Lodge, alongside his parents and younger siblings. The family moved to the impressive estate earlier this month, leaving behind the comparatively small Adelaide Cottage for what is now termed their “forever home.”
