Prince Harry’s “Conscience” Is Clear Even After Repeated Attacks On the Royal Family

Prince Harry is still telling his side of his “wholly truthful” story. Mind you, we’ve only been hearing just his side this whole time, and something tells me we’re not about to stop hearing it anytime soon.

After a quick trip to the UK where he had barely an hour meeting with the King – first reunion in 19 months, one would think it’d be longer – he jetted off to Kyiv, Ukraine to offer Invictus’ support to wounded veterans in the country.

All good and fine, if he didn’t think to have a sit-down with The Guardian to affirm that the hurt he must have caused his family in the last few years was done in good spirit.

Prince Harry may make jokes about brothers who drive one round the bend, but if it comes to his words in ‘Spare,’ he’s prepared to stand by it to the very end.

After all, he was only doing what his wife Meghan Markle told him to do. Oh no, it’s nothing cynic. She just told him that telling the truth “is the most efficient way to live.” He said: “She said ‘just stick to the truth’. It is the thing I always fall back on. Always.’”

Okay, now that he’s told his “truth” in a memoir, in podcasts, in interviews, in TV appearances, how does he feel about it? “I don’t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear,” he told The Guardian.

Later on, he said, “It is not about revenge, it is about accountability. You cannot have reconciliation before you have truth.”

But perhaps the keynote moment of his The Guardian interview is the one statement he made about his dad. “Over the coming year, the focus really has to be on my dad,” he said. Makes one wonder if the King’s health isn’t all that in a good place, doesn’t it?

This would rather seem a contrast to the statement he issued shortly after meeting his father, where he confirmed that he’s in great health.

Either that, or he’s jealous the Princess of Wales went viral just for tying her hair into a knot without a hair clip. Hard to say with him these days.
