Prince Harry & Meghan Slammed Over Netflix “No Deal” — A Sign Their Star Power Has Dimmed

It’s not news anymore that Harry and Meghan’s Netflix deal has been brutally downgraded, but even at that, this royal expert seems to think Harry’s no longer in the picture. Or at least not in any way deserving of him.

As promised, Meghan has returned with the second season of her show, ‘With Love, Meghan,’ and we were able to catch a glimpse of Harry.

However, for people who jetted off to America in hopes of becoming Hollywood’s next power couple, broadcaster and journalist Esther Krakue is not sure Harry’s got even a smidge of a value for entertainment.

“Harry is in the attic, he’s a hostage, and thankfully he chewed through his leash just in time to make an appearance in the season two trailer,” she told The Sun’s royal editor Matt Wilkinson. “But he is nowhere to be seen. Yes, obviously, he’s dealing with the fallout from his charity and trying to find his own thing.”

However, she insists Harry hasn’t really got on as to what he plans to do moving forward now that he’s lost a key charity. “But the man is lost. I mean, he’s really trying to find his feet. He has a kind of brown Midas touch, which I’m sure the viewers can infer what I mean by that. And really, this creative side of this endeavor has really been Meghan’s push,” Krakue said.

Krakue then expressed interest in seeing how capable Meghan can be directing, especially since she’s done a fantastic job in front of the lens.

It was also worth noting for Krakue that Meghan’s “B-list Hollywood presence” made it easy for Netflix to downgrade their deal to what Krakue chooses to call a “no deal.”

What will Krakue do if she was a Netflix exec negotiating a new contract with the Sussexes?

“If I was a Netflix executive and I was negotiating this new non-deal with Harry and Meghan,” she said, “I’d probably want to throw my shoe at Harry because at least Meghan is entertaining in the sense that she’s so vacuous, it’s almost like you marvel at it. But Harry’s not a creative and he’s never had anything in this industry.”

“And I think because he’s come from a world where everyone fawns at everything that he does because he’s Prince Harry.”

So if Krakue were an exec, she would ditch Harry for a solo deal with Meghan.

“Even though she’s not entertaining the way that she thinks she is,” Ms Krakue added. “Harry just has, there’s just nothing to him in terms of entertainment value. And I think this is probably why Netflix are like, yeah, let’s deal with the wife.”
