Melodee Buzzard Is Still Missing – What’s Happening?

Melodee Buzzard was last seen in early October, and many many stories came about  both her and her mom, Ashlee. For a while a flurry of news reports streamed in. But, she’s still missing, so you might wonder what the situation is right now. Keep on reading to find out.

The News Coverage Slowed Down

After the news arrived that Ashlee Buzzard drove a roundabout route to Utah with her daughter, 9, and returned without her child, everyone thought the worst had happened. That was until her arrest.

However, that arrest was for unrelated charges. Allegedly, it involved allegations that she held a former friend against his will. For a bit, she wore an ankle monitor, but that fell away and the case seemed to drop off the radar.

Was The Mom Moving Out?

Later, reports arrived that it seemed as if Ashlee was moving stuff and reporters wondered if she planned on fleeing. It came after revelations that allegedly, she’d dropped off Melodee with people she barely knew. Perhaps she was trying to hang onto the kid because relatives of her alleged husband hoped for custody.

Well, developments grew fewer, and slowly, the case fell off video and article headlines. So, we checked it out to find out if there’s a possibility there’s still a potential true crime, or if Melodee was finally located.

Very Little Happening

The bad news is, that nothing seems to have happened. Apparently, the hunt for Melodee goes on by authorities. But, there’s a lot of area to cover and potentially hundreds of video cam footage on the various routes.

The only update of any meaningful value appears to be a recent project by community residents that shows a protest.

Covered by KSBY News on YouTube, those participating explained that want to see Melodee Buzzard home by Christmas. Ashlee didn’t come out of the house, and it’s not even clear if she still lives there.
