Meghan Markle Growing Wary as Confidence Crumbles Under Constant Criticism

Meghan Markle has often opened up about the numerous backlash and controversies she’s faced since getting married to Britain’s Prince Harry, but despite the separating years, these critics are yet to let up.

According to an insider, these hurtful words are beginning to sting deeper every single day and they’re tearing away at her confidence.

Meghan Markle Doesn’t Want Her Haters To Kick Her Down

Whatever it is that Meghan Markle is doing these days, there’s very little chance it doesn’t incur derision.

Now, one might say her moves were made to incite said derision and boost interest in her brand, but one insider doesn’t agree so. According to the insider, the attacks are really wearing on Meghan.

“Meghan’s been putting a really brave face on this and saying any talk of delays are just haters doing their thing,” the source said, adding that “it’s incredibly hurtful and frustrating that people keep trying to tear her down,” and “it’s so obvious to her that they get a kick out of attacking her, regardless of what the facts are, and have simply seized on this narrative about her business failing.”

Due to this, “she’s having to hold her head high and block out all the noise. It’s got to be pretty draining and demoralising because here she is, aiming to deliver an incredible product, but she feels like anything she does will be used against her.”

But “it’s a huge challenge because the detractors are so loud; but if she gives up, she lets them win.”

Well, the idea that Meghan doesn’t want the haters to win couldn’t ring any truer, as she continues to forge ahead. Maybe her Netflix deal was heavily downsized, but even at that, the Duchess continues to see the bigger picture.

As Ever may have met its stumbling blocks – as any new business would, mind you – but she’s determined to grow it into the global lifestyle brand that will shame her detractors.

Speaking on the ups and downs of public life, Meghan told Harper’s Bazaar in their 2025/2026 issue: “I think my boundaries became stronger once I came into the public eye in this very … I could think of any adjective to fill the blank. And it would probably work.”
